It’s barely been a year since the release of Nintendo Switch, the latest console from the Japanese video game giant. For sure, there hasn’t been enough time for a massive amount of games, but the whole thing looks very promising. With new classic The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild under their belt, what’s next for Nintendo’s new toy?
Through Nintendo Direct, they’ve announced a few titles with 2018 release dates. These are our favorites!

1. Dark Souls: Remastered

Dark Souls, the game that birthed a thousand memes is back, this time for Nintendo Switch (although also for Xbox One and PlayStation 4). This famously difficult third-person action game will be available in stores starting May 25.

2. Mario Tennis Aces

If you’re one of those people who cannot get enough of Mario, Nintendo Switch is about to make you very happy. Mario Tennis Aces, the latest heir to the Mario Tennis franchise, will have your favorite Nintendo characters settling their scores on the court. It’ll be released on June 22.

3. Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition

Bringing back their popular Wii U third-person action game, the new edition of Hyrule Warriors will be available starting May 18. Just a few months before you can play as 29 characters from the Legend of Zelda world, including Link and the namesake princess.

4. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Another favorite from Wii U, you can expect navigate Toad through safety on your new console starting July 13. The new version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will add new mini-courses based on Super Mario Odyssey, building from another beloved property.

5. Little Nightmares: Complete Edition

After making its way through Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation releases, Little Nightmares: Complete Edition is heading to Nintendo Switch. A new game for those who love macabre aesthetics, this 3D puzzle is beautiful to look at, and it will keep you enthralled for hours. You can add it to your Switch collection on May 18.

6. Super Smash Bros

Yes, your favorite Nintendo characters are back for more insane fighting! The company announced last week that Super Smash Bros. is coming to the new console this year. While there are no details regarding title or even release date, we can be sure the game will involve hours of fun and infighting between friends.
